SFUFL to hold fundraiser

The Sheboygan Falls United Football League (SFUFL) is accepting registration forms for the upcoming 2009 football season.

This year marks the 43rd consecutive season that the SFUFL will be devoted to teaching youth the skills of tackle football.

All youths entering fifth through eighth grade with an age limit of 15 by Sept. 1, are invited to register.

Youths residing outside the Sheboygan Falls School District can also register, but will be charged a $50 equipment fee.

The SFUFL will hold a brat fry and car wash Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly in Sheboygan Falls.

Those who attend will have a chance to dunk a coach or school celebrity in the dunk tank with a football, from 12-3 p.m.

The SFUFL draft will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, at 5 p.m. at Sheboygan Falls High School.

All games are played on Saturday afternoon and evenings at the at the Zell Field high school athletic field.
