Sheriff’s Report 7-27
An unlocked barn in the town of Lyndon was entered into sometime during the weekend of July 16 and several items, totaling over $6,000 in value, were taken.
Frederick Pankratz, 52, of the south side of Sheboygan, owns the property and barn on State 57. Pankratz notified the Sheriff’s Department after discovering the missing items July 20.
Taken from inside the barn was a Hobart wire-welder, a Kohler generator, a Menard’s chop saw, and a hydraulic jack.

Firefighters from Johnsonville and Sheboygan Falls were dispatched to the Johnsonville Sausage Co., located at N6977 Johnsonville Way in the town of Sheboygan Falls, after a report of a fire in the Micro Lab of the Countryside Plant.
According to Lt. Mark Rupnik, the Sheriff’s Department received the call at 11:09 a.m. July 24. EMS and Sheriff’s officers also responded to the scene where all 325 employees were evacuated. One person was injured and treated at the scene with a second-degree burn to one leg.
The fire was contained inside the building and was not visible from the exterior.

Daniel Miller, 56, of 535 Center Avenue in Oostburg, was injured on the evening of July 22 when he fell through the ceiling of his garage.
According to Capt. David Adams, Miller fell through the drywall and struck his head on the concrete below.
Oostburg and Orange Cross ambulances arrived on the scene. Flight for Life was requested, but due to poor visibility, was unable to arrive. Miller was instead transported to a Sheboygan hospital for treatment.
