ALAN E. SCHRAMM

Alan E. Schramm, age 66, of W3623 Hiddenbrook Road, Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, of a heart attack, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

He was born in Sheboygan on June 16, 1943, a son of the late Edward and Esther (Krueger) Schramm.

Alan attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a 1961 graduate of Sheboygan South High School.

Alan was employed at the Kohler Company over 39 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He married Karen Adams on Oct. 12, 1991.

Alan was proud of his vegetable garden and tending to his well-manicured yard. He loved his cats.

Karen and Alan cherished each other’s company, going on trips and just being together. Alan was a special son-in-law to Ray Adams, and his help and support was greatly appreciated by the whole Adams family.

Surviving Alan is his loving wife, Karen; his daughter, Stacey (Terry) Martin of Monroe, Wis.; three precious grandchildren, Sawyer, Isabella and Grayson Martin; his daughter and son from a previous marriage, Melissa Marvin of Merlin, Ore., and Christopher Todd Schramm of Hudson, Fla., and their children; a brother, Michael (Janet) Schramm, and a sister, Bonnie (Al) Limberg, both of Sheboygan; two brothers-in-law, Roger Adams of Glenbeulah and Wayne Adams of Sheboygan; his Uncle Elmer and Aunt Nellie Schramm of Sheboygan; very special nieces and nephews, Cyndi Reiss of Appleton, Danny Reiss of Crivitz, Debbie (Ken) Cook of Sheboygan, other nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held for Alan at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at Zimmer’s Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road, Howards Grove. Friends may visit with the family at Westview from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established in Alan’s name.
