Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly and Creative Premiums/Rich Roelse of Sheboygan Falls have teamed up to sponsor the Sheboygan Falls Falcons football team for its annual 2009-2010 Falcon card fundraising event.

The Falcon card, which can be purchased for $15, will feature two savings cards this year.

The first card offers saving up to $20 on a one-time purchase of up to $200 of food or 10-percent off at Balttner’s Piggly Wiggly in Sheboygan Falls.

Alcohol and tobacco products are excluded.

The second card offers discounts at 15 Sheboygan area merchants like Falls Pizza Stop, Falls Parkview Restaurant, Dairy Queen, China One, Ella’s Della, Big Apple Bagels, Rick’s House of Flowers, Troy Cleaners, Odyssey Fun Center, Dunham’s Sports, Salon 511, The Sewing Machine Shop, Car X and Final Approach Steakhouse.

All proceeds from the purchase of the Falcon cards benefit the Falcons football team. The funds will be used for blocking equipment and future Falcon jerseys.

Falcon cards go on sale Friday, Aug. 14. They will be available from Falcon players, who will be in uniform selling the cards door to door in the city of Falls.

Cards can also be purchased by contacting Mike Nikson at 467-7890.
