PLYMOUTH SCHOOL DISTRICT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The Plymouth School District announces registration dates for the 2009-10 school year for all students. Any new resident of the district must complete an affidavit of residence in the district office located at Plymouth High School prior to registering in the school building. All four-year-olds are eligible for fouryear old kindergarten this fall.
Elementary
– Elementary students who were not registered last spring need to complete registration in their corresponding school building this fall. Registration times and dates are from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 10 and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11 at all district elementary buildings. Fees for elementary students will be collected during “Sneak Peek” on Aug. 27.
Middle School –
Registration for Riverview Middle School students will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug.19-20, and from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21. Fees for Riverview students are $60, plus an additional $60 for band students for instrument rental. Yearbook fee is $15.
High School –
Registration for Plymouth High School students will be from 7 a.m.-3: p.m. through Friday, Aug. 14. Fees at PHS are $60 per students, plus an $85 social and extracurricular fee. Also, two orientation nights are scheduled for Plymouth High students in the high school auditorium at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 for all upperclass students (10-12 grade) and at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 for all freshmen. Students can also register during any of these orientation evenings. There will be an athletic code meeting for all high school athletes and their parents at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 in the high school auditorium.
The first day of classes in the district is Tuesday, Sept. 1. The time schedule for each school is as follows: High school – 7:35 a.m.-2:40 p.m. Riverview – 7:30 a.m.-2:32 p.m. Fairview/Horizon – 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Horizon 4K – 8:45 a.m.-11:57 a.m. or 12:33 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Parkview – 8:50 a.m.-3:50 p.m. 4K 8:50 a.m.-12:02 p.m. or 12:38 p.m.-3:50 p.m.
Early release days will be the third Wednesday of every month.
