Sheriff’s Report 8-5

Joan M. Stoffel, 52, of Kewaskum was injured on July 26 at 5:05 p.m. after she fainted while riding as a passenger on a motorcycle. According to the accident report, Stoffel fell off of the back of the 1992 Harley Davidson after fainting and rolled into the ditch.

The driver, 54 year old Zachary K. Stoffel, also of Kewaskum, was driving westbound on Abbott Drive, just east of State 28, when the incident occurred.

Stoffel was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s of West Bend.

Two Sheboygan residents were injured as a result of drunk driving on July 31 following a one-vehicle accident on Lakeshore Drive, just south of Greenfield Avenue.

At 2:08 a.m., Matthew A. Menzer, 21, was eastbound on Greenfield Avenue when he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive. Menzer went through the intersection and left the road, striking a fence and spinning before coming to rest.

Menzer’s passenger, 20-year-old Rachel M. Tupper, was transported to an area hospital for injuries. Menzer suffered minor injuries and was ticketed for operating a vehicle while intoxicated – causing injury.
