Authentic 1940s Hangar Dance scheduled at the Aviation Heritage Center

The Aviation Heritage Center of Sheboygan County along with special hosts Mike and Pat Brotz invite you to a 1940s Hangar Dance and Silent Auction from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Aviation Heritage Center, Sheboygan County Memorial Airport, N6191 Resource Drive, Sheboygan Falls.

The featured live entertainment for the evening is the John Roehl Orchestra playing 1940s music. During the course of the night, mini-dance lessons will be given by well-known local professional dance instructors Sue Alby, teaching the rumba, Jessica Mueller, teaching the jitterbug and Sandi Vasatka, teaching the fox trot. Light food and beverage will be available for purchase during the evening specially prepared by Caffe Kita.

Tickets for the event are available at the Aviation Heritage Center office by calling (920) 467-2043. Space is limited, and advance ticket sales are preferred but a limited number will be available that evening. Period attire is encouraged.

Raffle items will be available during the course of the evening as well as a small auction of items not presently offered at other fundraising events in the area. Proceeds from this event will be used for future educational programs, exhibits and operations.
