Brandon R. Safemaster,
23, 312 N. Mill St., Waldo. $135 and six months’ local jail for felony possession, with intent to deliver, narcotics, June 4, 2009. Safemaster was taken into custody following a traffic stop in which he was the driver, but was driving on a revoked license. Officers searched Safemaster, incident to arrest, and found two small bags in one pocket – one bag containing eight Percodan tablets, and the second seven Endocet – both pills are schedule II narcotics that contain Oxycodone. Safemaster admitted to the officer that he was planning on selling the drugs. Officers then found more drugs and drug paraphernalia at his house.
Amando W. Thill,
22, 929 N. Eighth St. 14, Sheboygan. $92,562.10 restitution and $9,476.01 in fines, eight years’ state prison, and five years’ extended supervision for felony second-degree reckless injury – repeat offender. On Nov. 30, 2008, at 9:12 p.m. several Sheboygan Police officers were dispatched to the area of 13th Street and Broadway Avenue in regard to an assault. When officers arrived, they found a male lying on the sidewalk – his eyes were open, but he was unresponsive. A small amount of blood was on his left ear. The victim was taken to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and then on to Froedtert Hospital where he was in critical condition and responded minimally to stimulus. Witnesses told police that the victim had witnessed Thill and a female damaging a car – when the victim and a male witness went out to confront the individuals, a chase and then a struggle ensued. Thill struck the victim in the head and the victim suffered an injury to his left temple, a brain bleed, subarachnoid subdermal hemorrhaging, and a left temporal focal pressed skull fracture.
Robert P. Easterling,
45, 4058 N. 20th St. A, Milwaukee. $249.40 and three years’ probation for criminal damage to property and battery to law enforcement officers – felony. When Sheboygan Police responded to a report of criminal damage at 2:16 a.m. June 14, 2009, they were soon met by the suspect in the street. According to the criminal complaint, Easterling had broken a window of a woman’s car because he was upset with her – while police were taking her complaint, Easterling returned to the scene and refused to cooperate with the officers. A struggle ensued later and Easterling struck an officer in the face and attempted to strike him a second time, but the officer was able to stop him.
