SFPD Police Report 8-12

Officers with the Sheboygan Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 10 block of Wisconsin Street for a report of a 22-year-old man walking from his home with a loaded firearm.

When officers arrived at the scene, Matthew N. Hubing of Sheboygan Falls retreated to the basement of the residence. After a short standoff, the Hubing was taken into custody, while actively resisting arrest.

The Hubing was arrested on a felony charge of failing to comply with officers attempt to take into custody and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

The Class I felony resisting arrest charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than three years and six months, or both, if convicted.

The Class A misdemeanor obstructing and officer charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than nine months, or both, if convicted.

The Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge carries fine of not more than $1,000, or imprisonment of not more than 90 days, or both, if convicted.

Members of the Sheboygan Falls Police and Fire Departments responded to the 600 block of North Main Street last for a garbage truck on fire.

SFPD officers arrested several underage individuals in the 300 block of Pine Street for underage consumption of alcohol.

*** Officers with the SFPD responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 600 block of Forest Boulevard.

A 24-year-old woman was treated on scene for minor injuries.

She was then transported to the Sheboygan County Detention Center on charges of disorderly conductdomestic violence related and obstructing an officer.

SFPD officers investigated a child neglect complaint in the 100 block of Elm Street. A 23-year-old woman was taken into custody on charges of child neglect.

The child was placed with a relative.

Officers with the SFPD arrested a 39-year-old woman in the 100 block of School Street on active warrants for non-payment of child support.

SFPD officers arrested a 50-year-old man in the 200 block of North Main Street for a third-offence operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated violation. ***

SFPD officers assisted the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s department with a complaint of a man who had displayed a handgun and inappropriately touched a woman at a tavern, located outside the city limits of Sheboygan Falls.

The officers located the suspect’s vehicle at a residence in the area of N4400 State 32.

One subject fled out the back door. The officers took Richard C. Mauer, 53, of Sheboygan Falls into custody.

On Monday, Aug. 10, Mauer was charged with misdemeanor fourth degree sexual assault, use of facsimile firearms and misdemeanor disorderly conduct-use of a dangerous weapon.

The Class A misdemeanor fourth degree sexual assault charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than nine months, or both, if convicted.

The Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct-use of a dangerous weapon charge carries a fine of not more than $1,000, or imprisonment of not more than 90 days, or both, if convicted.

The Class C forfeiture use of facsimile firearms charge carries a forfeiture of not more than $500.

Harrison F. Dehl, 18, of Waldo was charged with three counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in Sheboygan County Circuit Court Tuesday, Aug. 4.

The charges stem from an incident in the 600 block of Broadway Street in downtown Sheboygan Falls in the early-morning hours of Monday, Aug. 3.

Each misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia charge carries a fine of not more than $500, or imprisonment of not more than 30 days, or both, if convicted.
