Local golfers come up aces

Three local golfers carded hole-in-ones recently.

Bernard “Fritz” Reil of Elkhart Lake and Bruce Weyker, Plymouth, both aced the par-3 fourth hole at the Quit Qui Oc Golf Club in Elkhart. Reil used an 8-iron on the 123-yard hole on Aug. 2 while Weyker swung a pitching wedge to hole out July 27.

Also shooting a hole-in-one was Steve Kopecky of Cascade. Kopecky earned his Aug. 2 on the par-3, 117-yard seventh hole at the Evergreen Golf Course in Plymouth.
