Refinski win local golf tourney

CRYSTAL LAKE – Gary Refinski shot a 5-over-par 70 to win the 18-hole 20th Reilly Invitational Golf Tournament at the Sir Lancerlot Golf Course earlier this summer.

Jim Dickelman placed first in the Senior Division with a 79.

Kean Kasper won the handicap flight with a net score of 58. Kasper was tied with Dave Teschlag and Wayne Lubke after 18 holes which forced a 5-hole playoff. Kasper won the put-off playoff to earn the trophy.

Local golfers on the leader board included Teschlag (79), Jon Grosshuesch (78), C.J. Girdaukas (80), Peter Knabel (80), Tony Schultz (80), Casey Girdaukas (81), Carl Nonhof (83), Tim Kellner (84) and Bill Strenger (85).
