Local participants fare well at 4-H dog show
by Verla Peichl Review Correspondent
The Sheboygan County 4-H Dog Show and Judging was held this past weekend at the Sheboygan County Fair Park. The dogs are judged pre-Fair; there were 148 entries and 63 kids that participated.
“Fifteen of our kids went to state and they all placed very well,” said Kathy Schwartz, chairperson.
Sheboygan County Fairest of the Fair Laura Rortvedt visited the judging and said she enjoyed watching this event, as well as all the other events she has been participating in since she was selected this past June.
“I’ve been very busy,” Rortvedt said, “but it’s been fun and I like the chance to see all the 4-Hers.”
A special Sportsmanship Award
was presented to Maggie Murphy
