Sheriff’s Report – Sept. 2

A tavern in Howards Grove was broken into sometime during the night or early morning hours between Aug. 30 and Aug. 31, according to Detective David Obremski of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.

Corbin’s Hideaway, located at 512 Madison Ave., is closed on Mondays and when someone went to the tavern to clean, they discovered the damage to six video game machines. The Sheriff’s Department was notified at 6:38 p.m.

Investigation revealed that someone forced entry through a side door and damaged the video games in order to remove over $1,100 cash from them while causing over $90 in damages.

According to Obremski, investigators do have some leads that they are following up on as the investigation continues.
