Angel’s touch
To the Editor:
This just goes to show you there are angels all around and you never know when you'll be touched by one.
Today (Thursday, Sept. 3) I was shopping at 1 p.m. at Pick’n Save in Plymouth. A lady came up to me after looking at my cart and stated that I must be hungry. I actually was, but I was there buying food for the Salvation Army in Plymouth. I explained this to her, and we both proceeded with our shopping.
As I was halfway down the next aisle, this lady approached me again. This time though, she handed me some money to use toward the purchase of food I was making for our emergency pantry.
As I was checking out, I had to tell the cashier and bagger what had just happened as I handed over the money followed by the check I'd written.
Thank you again to the Pick’n Save shopper for your compassion and concern toward others in the community. You truly are a blessing to others!
He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10
