VIRGINIA E. LOHSE

Virginia E. Lohse, age 77, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake.

She was born on March 11, 1932, daughter of the late Albert and Hattie (Arndt) Lohse. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Random Lake. In her free time she enjoyed tending to her plants, spending time with her family and loved taking care of her cats.

During her working career she worked at Alan Edmunds in Port Washington and the canning factory in Belgium.

She is survived by six nieces and nephews, Linda Lohse, Keith Lohse, and Jeff (Cheryl) Lohse, Carl, Scott, and Lori Doro; a sister-in-law, Lois Doro; and special friends Ruthie and Cheryl Meyer and family.

Her brother Ruben Lohse; a brother-in-law Arno Doro; a great-nephew, Matthew Lohse; and her beloved cat Smokey also preceded her in death.

A gathering time and service of committal will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Sherman Center with the Rev. Gregory Laska officiating.
