MOSEL FARM & HOME
The meeting was called to order by Kelly Wieland. Pledges were led by Carlie Parish (U.S.) and Caleb Kaeppler (4-H). Roll call was answered by “What grade are you in?” The treasurer’s and secretary’s reports were read and accepted.
Old Business:
The club picnic was held on Aug. 10 at the Wagners. We played our annual volleyball game of members against the parents. This year the parents won.
We worked on Saturday, Sept. 5 in the 4-H food stand.
Our club booth’s theme for the fair was “What’s Smore Fun than 4-H?” which was a camping theme. We got an pverall first place club booth. Great job!
Our silent auction basket was called “Homemade Delights.” The last bid was for $100.
Our new shirts are completed. They look awesome. Thanks to Mrs. Bramstedt for chairing this project.
New Business:
We will continue to make Meals On Wheels bags every other month. Thanks to Mrs. Parrish for picking and delivering back the bags.
Parents Awards Day will be on Nov. 7. We will also take a club photo.
Our pizza fundraiser forms were handed out. They need to be returned by Oct. 30 to Mrs. Athorp or Mrs. Kaeppler.
Enchanted Forest is set 1 p.m. on Oct. 24. We will be putting up a display for National 4-H Week in the Howards Grove Middle School.
Members are to bring their old coats to the next meeting for the Coats for the Needy Project. Elections were held. The new president is Andy Wieland, vice president is Kelly Wieland, secretary is Valerie Free, treasurer is Katelynn Mauk, and reporter is Sara Athorp.
