Panthers win JV soccer tourney
SLINGER – The Plymouth Panthers’ junior varsity 1 team won Saturday’s Slinger Quadrangular boys soccer tournament.
PHS beat Slinger’s JV 1 squad in the finals, 4-2, led by Franz Tadych’s three goals. Paul Thompson kicked the other goal. Marcus Gamoke and Dexter Curtiss had one assist each. Panther goalie Mitch Kronberg made three saves.
In the semifinals, Jake Meyer’s two goals keyed the Panthers’ 3-0 win over the Slinger JV 2 squad. Andrea Lofino had the other goal.
