JEAN S. WEINHOLD
Jean S. Weinhold, age 89, formerly of 411 Bishop St., and Woodland Village “Rocky Knoll” in Plymouth went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in the town of Sheboygan Falls.
She was born in Plymouth on Aug. 17, 1920, daughter of the late Gustav C. and Clemana (Minch) Kassebaum.
She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1938, was employed as a sales clerk for Sears and Roebuck for nine years and a service representative for the GTE Company, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Sheboygan, she volunteered in the Culinary Department for Sheboygan County Fair. Jean was also very active in church groups as well as the AARP and spent countless hours volunteering for the Plymouth High School Alumni Association.
Her parents, and a sister Edith Leek preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 27, at the Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth. Burial followed in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in the name of Jean S. Weinhold for the Plymouth High School Alumni Association and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center. Jean will be greatly missed by friends and neighbors.
