MARILYN J. DAANE
Marilyn J. Daane, 79, of 525 N. 13th St., Oostburg, passed away on Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, 2009 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
Marilyn was born on Sept. 21, 1930, in the town of Pleasant Valley in St. Croix County near Hammond, the daughter of the late DeLoyd and Esther (Meerdink) Wieberdink.
She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1948.
On May 14, 1955, Marilyn married Paul L. Daane in Cedar Grove. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1984.
Marilyn was employed at Dutchland Plastics for over 20 years before her retirement in 1984. Previously she had worked for Musebeck Shoe Co. and the Cedar Grove Canning Factory.
Marilyn was a member of Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian in Oostburg and the Rebekah Society and Senior Saints.
She also enjoyed time with her friends at the Monday Morning Breakfast Club and the High School Club. She was a good cook, and enjoyed birds, traveling and playing cards. She cherished the time she could spend with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Paula Daane of Oostburg and Jenny (Rod) Keitel of Sheboygan; one son, Brian (Ann) Daane of Oostburg; three grandchildren, Aaron (Nicole) Daane, Kenny Daane, and Caryn Daane; one sister, Delores (Marvin) Theune of Oostburg; and one brother, Wayne (Shirley) Wieberdink of Cedar Grove.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, Sept. 26, at Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Oostburg with the Rev. John Tinsley officiating. A family service preceded the service. Burial took place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the town of Wilson.

A memorial fund has been established in her name for Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church and the Oostburg Friendship Club.

the dedicated and loving care given to Marilyn and their family.
