An accident in Plymouth, at the intersection of County C and State 57, sent one Plymouth resident to the hospital and injured another Sept. 27, just after 3 p.m.

According to Sgt. Blaine Spicer of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, Leanne Baratka, 36, of South Hills Drive in Plymouth, was southbound on State 57 in her 2005 Cadillac Escalade. A witness told officers that Baratka, who also had 8-year-old Noah Baratka in the vehicle, sped up as the light turned yellow and entered the intersection after the light turned red.
