Tiger spikers sweep Kohler

KOHLER – Howards Grove raised its Central Lakeshore Conference girls volleyball record to 3-2 with a 25-20, 25-15, 25-13 win over host Kohler Thursday night.

“Kasey Latham had one of her best nights in three years. Every ball was set exactly where it needed to be,” said head coach Brett Damrow of the winning Tigers.

“It was a very fun game and there were many long volleys.”

Latham led the Tigers in assists with 29 and digs, 12. Ali Benning and Alexis Lindstrom had a team-high nine spike kills each.

Lindstrom paced Howards in blocks with six to go with six digs. Benning also had six digs.
