Andrew P. Manderle, 28, 1101 Evergreen Road, Plymouth. $644.53, six months’ local jail, and 24-month probation for burglary to building or dwelling – felony. On Jan. 22, 2009, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received a call from Weiss Implement in Glenbeulah reporting a theft of a customer’s snowmobile that was parked in a shed. Approximately one week later, they received information indicating that the stolen snowmobile was located at a house near the village of Cascade. The owner of the property told officers that his son had brought the snowmobile there to make repairs and that his son told him it belonged to Manderle. After investigating and interviewing Manderle’s friends, it was learned that Manderle had hot-wired the snowmobile Jan. 19 after his friend dropped him off at Weiss Implement with his helmet and jacket. The plan was for Manderle to drive the snowmobile to an agreed-upon location where his friend would be waiting there with the “famous truck.” Manderle arrived at the location first, and the two men loaded the snowmobile in the back of the truck. According to the criminal complaint, they had planned on selling the parts for money and getting rid of the frame.

Dean G. Wetor, 47, 2477 County K, Random Lake. $803 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated – first offense, Feb. 8, 2009.

Kevin R. Gogolewski, 41, 1919 Plymouth St., Oshkosh. $110, five days’ local jail, and one-year probation for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Dec. 30, 2008.

Joshua R. Cunningham, 25, 403 Allen Ave., Chillicothe, Ohio. $368, one year and six months’ state prison, and six months’ extended supervision for felony take and drive vehicle without owner’s consent and first-degree recklessly endangering safety. On July 9, 2009, the Sheboygan Police Department was called in reference to a vehicle theft. A witness was following a stolen vehicle that was taken from the Mobil Station on South Taylor Drive and Washington Avenue. The witness saw the suspect strike a curb, which caused the tire to go flat. The suspect then parked the vehicle and started walking. A Sheboygan County deputy made contact with the suspect, Cunningham, and took him into custody. Officers then located the vehicle and then its owner. According to the criminal complaint, the owner told officers that he pumped gas into the vehicle and then left it unlocked and the keys in it while he went inside to pay. As he exited the station, he saw his vehicle being backed out and driven away. The vehicle owner jumped onto the roof of the vehicle as it backed out and had his right hand placed inside the driver’s window. As Cunningham began driving south on South Taylor Drive, he began stabbing the owner’s hand with a pen. Cunningham also began swerving in an attempt to knock the owner off the vehicle, causing him to strike a curb and rupture a tire. The witness on the phone was able to lead police to Cunningham as he was walking on Interstate 43. According to the criminal complaint, Cunningham had been released from the Sheboygan County Detention Center that same day after an Ohio arrest warrant was dropped.
