Sheriff’s Report – Sept. 30

A semi truck transporting a load of corn meal overturned and spilled its contents into a ditch on County HH at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 29.

According to the accident report, the driver for Kraus Custom Forage Harvesting in Elkhart Lake, 45- year-old Patrick B. Snakenberg of New Holstein, was making a left turn off County D and onto County HH when it overturned and landed on the passenger side in the ditch.

Snakenberg was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend for his injuries. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
