Myers celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Ken and Doris Myer of N5508 County G, St. Cloud, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, with a dinner/celebration at Fudgienuckles in Glenbeulah.

They were married Oct. 1, 1959 at Waukegan, Ill.

She was born Sept. 30, 1939, the daughter of Bill and Hazel Richter. She was employed by Bemis Manufacturing, Sheboygan Falls, retiring in 2001.

He was born April 26, 1932, the son of Ransom and Henrietta Myer. He was employed by Bemis Manufacturing, Sheboygan Falls, and retired in 1994.

Their family includes three children: Karen Myer of Sheboygan Falls, Kenny Myer of Elmhurst, Ill., and Kolleen Myer of Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
