Women's chorus presents 42nd annual show
Sound Celebration Women's Chorus presents its 42nd annual barbershop show, Singing Safari, at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Riverview Middle School Auditorium in Plymouth.
Join the chorus as they sing their way through Africa with songs including “Moonlight Bay,” “Beauty the Beast,” and “Cruising Down the River.”
Special guests include Opening Night quartet and Change of Heart, 1999 International quartet champions of Harmony, Inc. They will entertain the audience with popular, country, and traditional songs. Opening Night has entertained groups in the local area for over eight years and won the distinction as “Most Improved Quartet” at their competition in June.
“The chorus has had a lot of fun this year preparing for our Singing Safari,” said chorus President Chris Hembel, “and our guest quartet even gets into the spirit by singing some safari songs and joining the chorus for the musical finale.”
Advance tickets are for sale at Adams Aurora Pharmacy in Plymouth, Ramminger's in Kiel, and Aurora Pharmacy on North 15th Street in Sheboygan. Or, call Mary at (920) 526-3389.
