Leaf pickup has begun in city

The city of Plymouth Public Works Department has begun collecting leaves from the curb.

Director of Public Works Bill Immich said the collection will continue through Thanksgiving, or when snow makes it impossible to collect them.

He asked residents not to rake branches or grass clippings to the curb, as those clog the machine that collects the leaves.
