JEWELL MAE HOEFT
Jewell Mae Hoeft, age 63, of Manor Parkway in Sheboygan, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, Oct. 14, 2009.
She was born on May 19, 1946, daughter of the late Hugo (Red) and Violet (Bobbie) Schultz Hoeft.
Jewell lived with her parents in the village of Waldo, later moving to the city of Plymouth. In her later years, after the passing of her parents, she found comfort living at the Rocky Knoll Health Care Center and later and most recently at Manor Parkway.
Everyone that had a chance to meet Jewell loved her and enjoyed her positive outlook on life.
She is survived by a sister, Cheryl (James) Zipperer of Fond du Lac; a nephew, Jason Laack; four aunts, Marie Strubing, Arlene (Gordy) Lund, Carola Schneider and Laverne (Oliver) Schultz; a great aunt, Althea Schultz; five uncles, August Hoeft, Walter Hoeft, Paul Hoeft Sr., Robert Hoeft and William Hoeft. Jewell is further survived by many cousins, friends, and most of all the staff that took great care of her and had a great understanding of her needs.
She was also preceded in death by three aunts, Anita Goelzer, Adeline Schultz-Kuhlow and Virgiline Schultz; six uncles, Jerome (Breezy) Schneider, Vincent (Jim) Schultz, Oliver Schultz, Norbert (Butch) Schultz, Vernon (Tuffy) Schultz and Arthur Hoeft.
A remembrance and a time to share was held at Sunday evening, Oct. 18, at the Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth. Burial took place on Monday in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
