Packers win Junior League title

PLYMOUTH – The Packers won the Plymouth Junior Football League championship with a 5-0 record after defeating Colts, 25-6, in season-ending action Oct. 10.

The Browns finished second at 4-1 after downing the Raiders, 26-16. In the other game, the Bears edged the Vikings, 7-6.

In Oct. 3 play, the Vikings topped the Raiders, 12-7; the Packers beat the Bears, 33-6; and the Browns defeated the Colts, 27-13.

The Plymouth Flag Football League concluded its season Oct. 12. The Browns beat the Raiders, 21-6, and the Vikings outlasted the Bears, 19-13.

Other flag football results this past season included: Bears 33, Raiders 0; Browns 19, Vikings 13; Bears 26, Raiders 13; Vikings 19, Browns 19; Vikings 18, Raiders 0; and Bears 20, Browns 14.
