Sheriff’s Report – Oct. 26
A burglar, who forced entry into a Sheboygan Falls home and stole cash from the home, also left behind someone else’s cash at the home.
David J. Herber, 61, of the N6000 block of Western Avenue in Sheboygan Falls, reported the theft Oct. 22 at 2:48 p.m. after arriving at his home and finding the maintenance person on his porch – the maintenance person stated that it appeared Herber’s residence had been broken into. The suspect had apparently pried the door open with some sort of tool.
When Herber went inside to check for missing items, he found that $200 cash was all that remained in an envelope that had previously contained approximately $1,100.
The suspect left a clear plastic bank coin bag on the floor in the kitchen area. The bag was full of coins, but did not belong to Herber.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was notified at 4:36 a.m. Oct. 23 of a home burglary in the township of Herman.
Martin Lopez, of N9520 State 42, woke up at 3:30 a.m. to discover that his flat-screen television and 70 DVDs were missing from his kitchen. The kitchen window was open, as well as the back door.
The TV was described as a Sony 32-36-inch black flat-screen, valued at approximately $800.

Margaret A. Hartlaub, 62, of Sheboygan was transported to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital following a two-vehicle accident Oct. 22.
According to the accident report, at 9:50 a.m. Hartlaub was northbound on State 32 when Shirley Cizauskas, 73, of Sheboygan Falls, turned north from the State 23 westbound off-ramp and into Hartlaub’s path.
The Sheboygan Falls Fire Department and first responders, Orange Cross Ambulance, as well as the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
Cizauskas was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from stop sign.
