GORDON LUECK
Gordon Lueck, age 75, of 420 Fremont St., Plymouth, Wis., passed away early Tuesday evening, Oct. 27, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 22, 1935 in Fond du Lac, Wis., a son of the late Gust and Estelle Konen Lueck. He attended Plymouth area grade schools and Plymouth High School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-56 serving in the Korean War.
On May 18, 1957, Gordon married Dominga “Jane” Reviera in Hawaii. The couple resided in Hawaii after their marriage, moving to Plymouth in 1957.
Gordon was employed at Borden Foods (now known as DFA) in Plymouth for 40 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.
Gordon enjoyed watching Packer games and NASCAR Racing.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dominga “Jane” of Plymouth; his children, Mary Lueck of Sheboygan and Penny (Jeffrey) Ploor of Kiel; five grandchildren; Scott Jaschob of Sheboygan, Lorrie (Nelson) Kaeppel of Sun Prairie, Shawn Ploeckelman of Kiel, Justin Ploeckelman of Green Bay and Corrie (Stu) Stempihar of Sheboygan; two step grandchildren, Cody and Brendan Ploor of Sturgeon Bay; four great-grandchildren: Alexa and Jaymz Stempihar, Teddy and Jensen Kaeppel; one brother, Lawrence (Pam) Lueck of Rockford, Ill.; one sister, Carol Miley of Horicon; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Estafan Feliciano of Hawaii, Felicidad Mercado of Hawaii, Cecilia Reviera of Hawaii, Valentine Reviera Jr. of Hawaii, Angeline Torres of Hawaii and Elaine Lueck of Plymouth; and also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gordon was also preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd and one brother-in-law, Richard Miley.
Gravesite services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the time of services.
The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites at the cemetery.
