ANGELINE A. JENS

Angeline A. Jens, age 82, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center, where she has been a resident since August of 2008.

She was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Plymouth, daughter of the late Melvin and Elva (Rickmeier) Dennerlein.

She attended school in Rhine Center.

On June 15, 1949, she married Victor Jens. They lived and farmed in the town of Plymouth. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1971.

Angie worked in the office for Plymouth Sand and Gravel for a number of years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and worked as a volunteer in the church office for many years. She also volunteered at the Plymouth Senior Center and had been a member of the Sheboygan County Farm Bureau.

Angie enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She loved working in her gardens, baking, cooking and simply being a good host to all those who visited her home. Over the years, Angie enjoyed traveling with her friends and for many years was able to travel with her partner, Glenn Williamson.

Survivors include her special friend, Glenn Williamson of Plymouth; her aunt, Aurelia Schuricht; her loving cousins, Robert Schuricht, Karen Szwiec, Bernice (Howard) Buehler; and her special niece, Chris Flood; along with numerous other cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. The Rev. Thomas Burton will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Monday from 5 p.m. until the hour of service. A memorial fund will be established in Angie’s name for St. John Lutheran Church.
