Egerer playing college volleyball

Liz Egerer, a 2009 Sheboygan Christian graduate, is a reserve outside hitter as a freshman on the Michigan State University women’s volleyball team this season.

Egerer, a Plymouth resident, was a first-team all-stater at Christian last year. She has played in eight matches through Saturday and has nine kills, one assist, five digs, one solo block, 5-for-5 serving and 10 points for the Spartans.

The Spartans improved to 4-8 in the Big Ten Conference (16-8 overall) with a 3-0 win over Wisconsin Saturday at East Lansing, Mich.

Egerer, a graphic design/advertising major, is the daughter of John and Deb Egerer.
