Wedding: CHLOE KROENING and SHAWN REIMES
Chloe Kroening and Shawn Reimes exchanged marriage vows Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Evergreen Park in Sheboygan. Pastors David Van Dixhorn, Luke Schouten and Roger Voskuil performed the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Lu Ann Kroening of Cedar Grove. She was presented in marriage by her father, to the son of Larry and Lynn Reimes of Sheboygan Falls.
Music for the nuptials was provided by Beef Tea Bluegrass Band and Gary Speener/Amelia Palomares.
Serving as matron of honor was Marisa Underhill, Sheboygan, and as maid of honor, Lileah Kroening of Cedar Grove, both sisters of the bride. Attendants were Katie Clemens, sister of groom, of Sheboygan Falls; Colette Veldhorst, friend of couple, of Oostburg; Amelia Palomares, friend of bride, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Anneke Seely, friend of bride, of Plymouth. Candlelighters were Elizabeth Clemens, Sheboygan Falls, and Cassie Ongna of Oostburg, both friends of bride. Esther Seely, Plymouth, served as junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Emma Seely, Plymouth, and Annika Speener of Cedar Grove.
Nate Ongna, friend of the groom, of Oostburg served as best man. Attendants were Seth Underhill, brother-in-law of bride, of Sheboygan; Ben Clemens, brother-in-law of groom, of Sheboygan Falls; Peter Walvoort, cousin of groom, of Oostburg; Jason Reimes, cousin of groom, of Beaver Dam; and Chris Boden, cousin-in-law of groom, of West Bend. Ring bearer was Ethan Paul of Cedarburg.
Ushering duties were shared by Adam Dykstra and Eric Seider, both friends of groom and of Oostburg. Miniature usher was Mitchell Ver Velde of Oostburg.
The reception and dinner were held at Evergreen Park, Sheboygan.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in physical therapist assistant. She is a physical therapist assistant at Rehab Plus Sports Medicine and Rehab through Holy Family Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Her husband is a 2007 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Platteville earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He is employed as a structural engineer through AE Com in Sheboygan and is in the U.S. Army Reserves.
A honeymoon trip was taken to St. Lucia. The couple reside at Sheboygan Falls.
