School bus accident Nov. 6
On Friday, Nov. 6, at 4:10 p.m. a cellular 911 call was received by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department reporting a van versus school bus collision at the intersection of Franklin Road and County FF in the town of Herman.
Because of this collision, one of 24 students sustained a minor injury.
Deputies, a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper, Howards Grove Jaws and First Responders, Franklin Fire Department and Orange Cross Ambulance responded to the scene. It was learned the school bus, operated by 63-year-old Keith E. Coop of Howards Grove, was northbound on Franklin Road where it proceeded from a stop sign and collided with a van, operated by 37-year-old Tonya C. Masters of Fond du Lac.
The child was transported by Orange Cross, to Sheboygan Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
