JEANNE R. COMERFORD

Jeanne R. Comerford, age 63, of W7076 State 28, Cascade, Wis., passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 14, 2009, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Jan. 15, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wis., a daughter of the late Fred and Betty Hardinger Meier. Jeanne attended Granville High School in Brown Deer.

On July 27, 1963, she married Gerald R. Comerford at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brown Deer. The couple resided in Milwaukee after their marriage moving to Cascade in 1980.

Jeanne was employed at the Schwaab Stamp and Seal Co. in Milwaukee for 27 years.

She enjoyed every minute she could with her loving granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jerry of Cascade; one son, Mike Comerford of Saukville; one daughter, Beth (Darren) Buslaff of Campbellsport; one granddaughter, Makayla; her mother-in-law, Lorraine Comerford of Brown Deer; one brother, Fred (Mindy) Meier of Manitowish Waters, Wis.; one sister, Sandy Klettke of Sussex, Wis.; six brothers- and sisters-in-law: Don (Donna) Comerford of Hartford; Jeannie Comerford of Milwaukee; Judy Nuebauer of Jackson, Wis.; Ken (Elaine) Comerford of Saukville; Marge (Paul) Zilligitt of Greenfield, Wis., and Kathy Noeske of Brown Deer, Wis.; and also survived by other relatives and many friends.

She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Earl Comerford.

Friends can gather and share memories and stories of Jeanne with the family Friday, Nov. 20, from 5-7 p.m. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Cremation has taken place.
