Sheriff’s Report – Nov. 23

Sovann Soun, 35, of Alabama Avenue in Sheboygan, was arrested and cited for his second offense of operating a vehicle while intoxicated Nov. 21, after crashing his vehicle just before midnight.

According to the accident report, Soun was traveling with a passenger, Boonhuang Phonesaythip, and was southbound on Interstate 43 when he veered into the right lane and then into the west ditch, drove up the embankment, and spun around 180 degrees.

Soun was injured and taken to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center by Orange Cross Ambulance. He also received four other traffic citations.

An apartment on Nutmeg Court in the town of Sheboygan was burglarized Nov. 21 after an unknown suspect forced entry into one of the apartments while the tenant was on vacation.

According to Cory Roesseler of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, someone was looking after the place while the tenant was gone and when the keyholder checked on the apartment Nov. 21, they discovered a door was ajar.

Two big screen TVs were taken, a $1,200 set of golf clubs, and other miscellaneous personal items.
