4-H- LIMA LITES – November 2009

President Callie called the Lima Lites 4-H club November meeting to order. Pledges were led by Jimmy Jens and Heather Reilly. Roll call was “your favorite singer or band.”

Rachel Bohnhoff then gave the secretary’s report, and Abby Mauer gave the treasurer’s report.

Ashley Meyer got committees together for the Christmas Party Committee, and both Holiday Parade committees for Plymouth and Sheboygan Falls.

Hannah Schleicher, our sunshine person, made cards for Jane Sukowaty and Kayla Stokdyk. Also cards were sent to Dean Foods and Piggly Wiggly for helping during Dairy Promotion.

In Community Builders, we made Christmas cards for our troops. We also made decorative Meals on Wheels bags.

Barb Marten passed out a sign-up sheet for bell ringers at Piggy Wiggly in Sheboygan Falls.

Old business:

Marty Jens talked about Enchanted Forest and that it was canceled due to the weather.

Kelly Jens reported about helping out at Piggly Wiggly for Dairy Promotion. Emily Schaefer talked about the past Halloween Party and that several different games were played.

Jane Sukowaty told the members that the Pizza Sale forms needed to be handed in by the November meeting and that they can pick up the pizzas Dec. 5 at her house.

New business:

Ann Hand and Jen Humphrey talked about the Music and Drama play. It will be held Feb. 20, 2010, at Sheboygan Falls High School. A sign-up sheet was provided for any members wishing to be in it.

Pam handed out booklets for the Avon sale.

General leaders Jeff and Erika Schleicher let us know that there is going to be a Clover Award Ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, in the Grand Ballroom at The American Club.

All enrollment forms were due during the November meeting to Angela Seifert. Membership awards and fair checks were handed out during the meeting.
