State Park Admission Stickers available at Kohler-Andrae

The new 2010 Wisconsin State Park Admission Stickers will be available for sale at the Kohler-Andrae State Park office starting Saturday, Nov. 28.

The park sticker allows access to all Wisconsin State Parks and Forests for the entire calendar year. Over the years, the annual state park sticker has become a popular gift idea with holiday shoppers.

The cost of the 2010 park admission sticker is $25 for vehicles registered in Wisconsin and $35 for outof state vehicles. For those owning more than one vehicle, additional stickers can be purchased at half price as long as all of the vehicles are registered to the same household and the original park sticker was purchased at full price.

Wisconsin residents who are 65 years of age or older may purchase park admission stickers for their vehicles at a reduced senior rate of $10 each.

Also for the holidays, the Friends of Kohler-Andrae volunteers will have gift items for sale at the park office such as wildlife identification and children’s nature books, hooded jackets, caps, T-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, wildlife posters, Smokey teddy bears, bird and bat houses and other nature-related merchandise.

The Friends organization donates all profits from the sale of these items back to the park to support property nature programming and to help fund recreational facility improvements at Kohler-Andrae State Park.

The park office will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 23. For more information or to check for mid-week office hours, call the park office at (920) 451-4080.
