Life savers
To the Editor:
I am writing this letter to commend the fine work of the members of the Cascade Fire Department and the First Responders. Especially I would like to thank Paul McMullen, Mark McMullen, Kelly Fischer, Levi Melius Jr., Todd Triebensee, Troy Krahn, Dave Propson, Tom Roerdink, Dwayne Hendrickson and Fred Arbuckle. I would also like to thank the Plymouth Paramedics.
I had a severe allergic reaction to several bee stings on the Fourth of July. Because of their fast response and vast medical knowledge, I am able to write this letter today.
I think we fail to realize sometimes just how important these departments are in our lives. Most first responders and fire departments in our area are volunteers. They do not hesitate to save others and I am proud to have them as neighbors, friends, and family.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I am very thankful to have these fine men and women who serve us and give their time and commitment to help us in emergency situations. Thank you to all who are part of these departments.
