Q Mart Rewards supports the Weill Center
The Stefanie H. Weill Center and Q Mart have united to promote programming at the Weill Center and allow consumers to become Weill Partners and support the Weill Center through the Q Mart Rewards program. The partnership includes pump topper displays advertising upcoming events for the Weill Center at Q Mart stores and also gives Q Mart Rewards customers an opportunity to earn additional rewards for the Weill Center.
“The Weill Center is one of the finest historic buildings in the city of Sheboygan and Q Mart has always believed in supporting the community, so this is a natural for us,” stated John Winter, Q Mart vice president of planning and development. We hope that this partnership can help support the operations of the theater, giving it the opportunity to continue to bring world-class performances to the stage.”
The foundation of this partnership is the Q Mart Rewards program. Q Mart Rewards customers accumulate points through their purchases which in turn earn monetary rewards to be redeemed at Q Mart.
Through this joint venture, Weill members and supporters can designate their monetary rewards to the Weill Center. A special reward for Weill members only, offers a 25,000 point level reward of $10 which may only be contributed to the Weill Center. Random monetary rewards from Q Mart’s current $25,000 Gas Giveaway ranging from $1 to $25 are also eligible to be donated to the Weill Center.
To become a Weill partner, Q Mart Rewards customers must write “Weill” on the top line of their Q Mart Rewards application form. Weill Partners should drop off all Q Mart monetary reward coupons at the Weill Center, 826 N. Eighth St. in Sheboygan.
“This is a simple way for rewards members to support the Weill Center and I feel very proud to have Q Mart as a partner in this program.” commented Weill Center general manager Randy Schwoerer. “It takes a lot of maintenance and upkeep to operate the theatre and this program can have a large impact on that, so I ask everyone to join the Q Mart Rewards program and write `Weill’ on the top line of their application.”
Built in 1927 and opened in 1928, the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, previously known as the Sheboygan Theater, is recognized on the national, state and city historic records. Operated as a movie theater from 1928-96, the theater went through a major renovation and was reopened in 2001 as the Stefanie H. Weill Center for Performing Arts, named for donor Stefanie H. Weill, as a live performance and specialty movie theater.
The theater is respected worldwide for the detail in the renovation and support of the community to bring it back to its original luster.
