Winter concert to be presented by Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Middle School

The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Middle School Music Department will present its annual Winter Concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, in the Ronald Mauk Auditorium.

Performing will be the middle school band and chorus. Select pieces to be performed by the band include “12th Street Rag” arranged by John Edmondson; “Celtic Air and Dance No. 2” arranged by Michael Sweeney; and “Jolly Old Sleigh Ride” by James Curnow. Choral selections include “Peace Chant” by Jerry Estes; “Let’s Jingle Everywhere!” by Greg Gilpin; and a round by Natalie Sleeth titled “Gaudeamus.”

Directors of the groups are Jodi Voss, instrumental music teacher, and Barb Zirwes-Nysse, vocal music teacher. Sue Billmann will provide accompaniment for the choir.

The community is invited to attend. Admission is free.
