Blessed Trinity students to collect for food pantry
The seventh through 11th grade religious education classes from Blessed Trinity Church, Sheboygan Falls, will be collecting food for the Sheboygan Falls Food Pantry Wednesday Dec. 16, from 7:15-8 p.m.
The students will canvas the areas surrounding Blessed Trinity in small groups, with an adult chaperone and a note to identify who they are.
High on the list of needed items are peanut butter and jelly or jam, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, macaroni and cheese, instant potatoes, canned tomato products, and crackers.
Those living outside the immediate area can bring donations to Blessed Trinity, between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 16.
“We hope the community will support our efforts to stock the food pantry by giving as generously as possible,” said Julie Hammer, director of religious education at Blessed Trinity.
