Sheriff’s Report – Dec. 7
Amy M. Mussell, 48, of Sheboygan, was cited for inattentive driving after she crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle in a head-on collision. Mussell told officers she was adjusting her mirror when she crossed the line.
The accident occurred at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 1 when Mussell struck Bobbi Jo Nowak, 33, of Sheboygan Falls, who was driving east on Superior Avenue in the town of Sheboygan while Mussell was traveling westbound.
Both drivers were transported to Sheboygan area hospitals and both vehicles were towed.

Three area fire departments were dispatched to the W7500 block of Brazelton Drive in the town of Scott after the homeowners called 911 to report a shed fire.
According to the news release, the call came in at 6:01 p.m. Dec. 3. Beechwood, Batavia, and Silver Creek fire departments responded, along with Batavia First Responders and deputies from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.
The shed housed the water pump for a well and also contained a heat lamp, portable heater, and some bags of seed. The contents were a total loss.
There were no injuries and the exact cause of the fire is unknown.

A vacant farmhouse in the town of Sheboygan Falls was reported burglarized Dec. 2. The owner, Jodi L. Ziegelbauer of Millersville Avenue in Howards Grove, discovered and reported the incident to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department at 6:30 p.m.
The suspect stripped copper wiring from the house and took a Craftsman tool chest, valued at $400, and a metal vise, with a value of $250, from the barn.
