Sheriff’s Report – Dec. 10

Three people were seriously injured in a two car head-on collision at the intersection of County PPP and State 28 in the town of Sheboygan Falls.

According to the press release, at about 6:34 p.m. Dec. 7, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received 911 calls regarding the accident.

Investigation showed that Michael Connerton, 24, of Milwaukee, was driving south on County PPP when he failed to stop for the posted stop sign at State 28. Connerton turned east into the path of a van operated by Rachael K. Bohnhoff, 17, of Plymouth, who was traveling west on State 28. The two vehicles crashed head on causing Connerton’s vehicle to roll onto its roof.

Bohnhoff was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital by Orange Cross Ambulance for non-life threatening injuries. Connerton was flighted to Froedtert Hospital by Flight-for-Life for serious injuries and his passenger, David Felde, 30, of Plymouth, was also flown to Froedtert Hospital for serious injuries.

Connerton was issued traffic citations for failure to yield right of way, operating after revocation – causing injury, failure to fasten seat belt, and unauthorized display of registration. The accident remains under investigation.
