Sheriff’s Report – Dec. 16

Dec. 16 at 1:36 a.m., the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call reporting a structure fire at W7065 Silver Spring Lane in the town of Mitchell.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department, Cascade First Responders, and fire departments from Greenbush, town of Plymouth, Cascade, and Waldo were all dispatched to the scene where two large sheds were fully engulfed in flames.

The two sheds were approximately 12 feet by 24 feet in size. One was being used as a tool shed and the other contained a boiler that heated the residence on the property. The residence was not affected by the fire.

No one was injured in the fire, but both sheds and their contents were a total loss. The damage estimate is unknown at this time.

The Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Unit was dispatched to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire, which is unknown at this time.
