Red Cross Blood Drive on tap
The Sheboygan Falls Jaycees will sponsor a Red Cross Community Blood Drive Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Sheboygan Falls Municipal Building.
The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. All blood types are in great need to ensure a reliable supply for patients.
Every two seconds, every day of the year someone in this country needs blood. Each donor can help save up to three lives.
Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with parental consent, and weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo identification is required.
To make an appointment call 1-800-GIVE LIF(E), or visit givebloodgivelife.org. Walk-ins are welcome. “Please come to donate and bring a friend,” Shirley Verhage, blood drive co-coordinator said. “Enjoy a great lunch of sandwiches, cookies and Culver’s custard, and know that you have helped to save a life.”
