JOYCE M. MOELLER
Joyce M. Moeller, age 71, of 544 Clark St., Cascade, Wis., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1938 in Nottingham, England, a daughter of the late George and Kathleen Noble Whiston. She graduated from high school in Nottingham, England. On Sept. 7, 1957, she married James Moeller in Nottingham. The couple lived in England, Germany and Seattle, Wash., for 20 years and, since 2000, in Cascade. She was employed for 20 years at Foss Nursing Home in Seattle, Wash., until her retirement in 2000.
Joyce loved traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jim of Cascade; her children, Bev (Neil) Suemnicht of Plymouth, Steve (Renee) Moeller of Cascade, Rebecca Moeller of Plymouth; two grandchildren, Ryan (Aubree) Ralph of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Amber Moeller of Cascade; two sisters, Eileen (Jackie) McKinley of Nottingham, England, and Jean (Reg) Beardsley of Arnold, England.
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
She was also preceded in death by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 2 at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth with Father Wayne Bittner officiating. Cremation followed the services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Joyce’s name for the American Cancer Society.
