Business Inspiration Series explores agriculture Jan. 18 at LTC

The stories of two entrepreneurs who started new ventures in the agriculture industry will be featured at the January session of the Entrepreneurship and Inventors Network’s Business Inspiration Series.

Brigitte DeMaster of Bahr Creek Llamas will talk about her fiber studio and store, which sells yarns, weaving supplies and offers classes. Karl Klessig will share the story of Saxon Homestead Creamery, which makes unique, delicious cheese sold from coast to coast.

The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Cleveland Training Room of the Lakeshore building on Lakeshore Technical College’s Cleveland campus. All inventors, entrepreneurs, students, startups, business owners and other area residents are invited to attend. Registration is not necessary, and there is no cost to attend.

The Business Inspiration Series aims to educate and empower the entrepreneurial spirit in the Lakeshore area. Topics and speakers featured in this series focus on ideas and resources to help individuals learn how to adapt and prosper in a world of constant change.

The series is sponsored by the Economic Development Corp. of Manitowoc County, the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce and Lakeshore Technical College.
