Tigers breeze to CLC win
HOWARDS GROVE – The Howards Grove Tigers had a 21-5 scoring advantage in the second quarter to key a 59-31 rout over Random Lake in a Central Lakeshore Conference boys basketball game here Friday night.
The Tigers, who have won four in a row, raised their CLC record to 6-3 (7-3 overall).
Howards buried four three-pointers in the second period. Eric Bruesewitz and Aaron Wagner sparked the Tigers’ attack in the quarter with five points apiece.
Bruesewitz led a balanced Tiger offense with 15 points. He enjoyed a terrific overall game as he also had a team-high five assists, three steals and three blocked shots.
Aaron Wagner paced Tiger rebounders with 10.
JV GAME
Mike Davis popped in 12 points to lead the Tigers to a 58-18 romp. Howards upped its CLC record to 9- 0 (10-0 overall). | BOYS
