4-H-Spring Valley – December meeting

The Spring Valley 4-H Club meeting was held Dec. 14, 2009. The pledges were led by Madeline Schneider for the American pledge and Andrew Meyer for the 4-H pledge.

We received five thank-you notes: one from Karen Longrie, who thanked us for sending her seeds for Haiti; one from Ann Kaczkowski, who thanked us for our help at the American Legion Auxiliary Chili Supper in October; two from the Plymouth Food Pantry Inc., thanking us for donating food to them; the last was from Tim and Patty Talen.

Bingo at Rocky Knoll would resume the first Monday in January.

The club received a certificate of appreciation from the Glenbeulah Post office for decorating there.

On Nov. 27, the club collected 264 items during the Plymouth Holiday Parade for the Plymouth Food Pantry.

The Member Achievement would be held Jan. 17 at the Greenbush Town Hall.

The New Family Welcome will be held Jan. 26. More information will be in the Crier.

The Tri-County Youth and Adult Conference will be Jan. 23 at Grafton High School; look for more information in the Crier.

Our next officer and director meeting would be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Greenbush Town Hall conference room.

Our next club meeting was scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Greenbush Town Hall.
